Drama with Color

Our recent interior design project transformed a bland dining room into a jewel-tone masterpiece. The walls were painted a rich blue above the contrasting bright white wainscot, creating a striking and elegant visual impact. A new rug in coordinating blue hues pulls the color seamlessly from the walls to the floor, tying the room together. White and light-colored furniture, complemented by drapery panels and carefully chosen accessories, stand out beautifully against the bold wall color, adding a sense of sophistication and brightness to the space.

In the office, we embraced the same dark paint for the millwork, bookcases, and walls, creating a moody and dramatic ambiance. This rich color palette allows gold accents and the vibrant hues of the furniture to pop, infusing the space with luxury and depth. The piano room harmonizes with the dining room by incorporating the same blue tones through two coordinating wing chairs, providing a perfect spot to enjoy the music. Accents, two-story drapery panels, and millwork enhance the room’s grandeur, while a modern chandelier dripping with crystals adds a touch of glamour and elegance. Together, these changes create a cohesive, stylish, and inviting environment throughout the home.
